  3. Bernie is a PhD student at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His
  4. primary interest is in computer supported argumentation systems and is
  5. writing his dissertation about Euclid, a collaborative hypertext system for
  6. the Mac. His bachelors degree is from SUNY Albany, and he has been hacking
  7. the Mac ever since his second year of college in 1985. He has interned at
  8. Apple a few times in the summers of '90 and '91, and contributed to AOCE
  9. and a former project in Apple's Advanced Technology Group.

  15. Chris DiGiano
  16.  
  17. Chris DiGiano received his masters degree in computer science from the
  18. University of Toronto and his bachelors degree from the University of North
  19. Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently a PhD student at the University of
  20. Colorado at Boulder. He has several publications about using sound at the
  21. computer-human interface with an emphasis on assisting programmers. His
  22. current research looks at supporting the learning of complex programmable
  23. systems.
